It would be much more accommodating if we could have had seating for a larger crowd who could sit all together...outside. The crab soup was DELICIOUS as was the catch of the day, South African fish. The maps to get there are very misleading, we came and left the same area not realizing we were already in the right spot. We went to the print shop and they were kind enough to point us back to the right location. Overall good experience. Only knew you were there from seeing the products at the Savannah/Hilton Head airport upon our arrival to Savannah for the first time. My last name is Saltz so naturally we had to find the Salty Dog Cafe. Fresh handmade sweet cornbread bites fried to a golden brown & served with our homemade honey butter. We cooked up over a zillion of these puppies last year.

Lowcountry Crab Dip

A creamy blend of Blue Crab, herbs and spices. Served chilled with our homemade pita chips. Don’t be shellfish, this dip is meant to be shared.

 

Jake’s Famous Shrimp Toast

A Salty Dog classic since the early days. Wild American Shrimp blended with shredded Jack and Cheddar cheese blend, garlic and spices. Served melted over a toasted hoagie roll. Cheers to our toast, it isn’t just for breakfast!

 

Rings of Fire

Crispy calamari tossed in our original calypso sauce and island spices. These blazing rings are cooled off with a little fresh pineapple salsa and servedwith ranch.

 

Pimento Cheese Dip

A Southern treat!  Blended cheeses foldedwith chopped pimento and robust spices. Served with our homemade pita chips. It's OK to cheese if you please.
