"I love the Salty Dog Cafe because everybody there is happy. The location is good, and the atmosphere.
What do I mean by everybody is happy at the Salty Dog? I'm talking about how everyone is smiling and enjoying themselves! That must mean that people like being there.
The location is perfect. It's near my Grandparents' house. I stay with them when I go to Hilton Head, South Carolina. Their house is visible, when you're on the deck of the Salty Dog Cafe. The swimming pool is also wonderful. My mom and Dad can get something to drink and we can swim.
The atmosphere of the Salty Dog is very relaxing. I love the beautiful view it has from the deck. The music playing on the awesome ipod is great. I like the cool mini cooper car they have to dilver pizza and the T-shirt factory. The internet camera is fun. You can see people on the internet who are there when you are not. I love the logo sweatshirts and t-shirt.
That's why you're my favorite restaurant. Everybody's happy there, the location, and the atmosphere is also beautiful. Thank-you very munch, Salty Dog, for being a great restaurant!"

My grandparents purchased a villa across from the south beach marina when my aunts, uncles, and mother were veryyyy young. During this time, the island was not nearly as popular as it is now. I am turning 20 in september and I have came to Hilton Head at least once a year since I was born. For some reason just being there and hanging out on the dock, pool, beach, and especially The Salty Dog makes me so happy and makes me feel like I'm at home. I live 15 hours away by car and its worth every minute until I get down there and I cry every time I have to leave. Sea Pines is very sentimental to me and Hilton Head definately has my heart for life. I loved all the bartenders and t-shirt factory employees through out the years especially Cappy the Clown who has painted my face every year for the past 20 years and I'm proud of it! And my favorite former bar tenders are Patty and Andy! I love everyone down there and I can't wait to come down again this year!"
